John has had extensive experience in acting for a range of clients in the wine and agricultural industries.

Talia Begley

Director - Solicitor

A practitioner with over 20 years of experience, Talia’s commercial expertise is broad Talia works closely with the accounting industry and other trusted advisors to defter a 'whole of business' legal service to clients in a broad range of industries including property, medical, the retirement sector and not-for-profit clients. Of note are Talia's skilled commercial transactions which incorporate the structuring and restructuring of businesses in a tax- effective manner, mergers and acquisitions; sales and divestments.

Nathaniel Nguyen

Director - Solicitor

Possessing a broad range of legal experience and expertise across the expanse of commercial and property law, Nathaniel primarily counsels SMEs, exacting particular focus on organisations within the niche community of pharmacy and healthcare sectors. Nathaniel delivers commercial outcomes for his clients with a no fuss and easy-to-understand approach and manner.

Tim O'Brien AM

Consultant Solicitor

After 53 years of living and working in Berri.

Tim has now relocated lo Adelaide. He is committed lo travelling back to Berri as a consultant and will continue to assist and provide advice as required. For those clients who require the benefit of Tim's accumulated history and background knowledge. Tim will still maintain an association with tiie firm via an ongoing consultancy agreement.

Sheena Vagg

Solicitor

With nine years of experience, in several fields of law, Sheena has experience In family law and transfers, will and estates, criminal law, conveyancing and employment law.

Sheena enjoys working with clients to provide concise, timely and considered advice. Sheena is a dedicated solicitor who places importance on the potential to resolve a matter at its earliest stage.

Roxanne Gillespie

Solicitor

Working at the District Court of South Australia for three years before moving back to her hometown of Beni in 2021, Roxanne now works in conveyancing matters including sales and purchases, land division and subdivisions.

She looks forward lo expanding her knowledge and moving into further areas including estate planning and succession.

Kathy Rosenthal 

Practice Manager

Kathy has aver 47 years' experience in the legal industry. Her current varied role includes the day-to-day running of the firm including financial management, staff recruiting, and HR management, planning and marketing, Information management, streamlining processes to ensure best practice and compliance and providing day- to-day guidance to staff relating to their duties and responsibilities.

Sue Coden

Paralegal

Sue has worked as a clerk and legal secretary in the Rivertand for almost 40 years.

Throughout her time in legal support she has worked in many areas of the law and currently as a paralegal, specialising in primarily Wills and Power of Attorney, Probate and a predominant part of estate administration.

Simone Gunn

Paralegal

Simone has had experience as a legal secretary with Adelaide legal firms prior to coming to the Riverland.

She has 35 years' experience in the legal industry and has worked in a variety of

legal roles As a jiaralegal Simone is

involved in general commercial law, leasing documentation and Probate and estate administration.

Helen Pedler

Administration Clerk

With over 10 years’ experience as a legal administration clerk Helen has held a variety of roles within our firm.

Helen is an all-rounder and assists in filling in where required and maintaining client files and documents, Trust accounting, reception and general support work.

Merridy Rady

Receptionist - Administration Clerk

With a solid knowledge of Riverland clients, Merridy is our receptionist and will greet you in person on the telephone and will assist you with your first inquiry.

Merridy's role as support clerk has her maintaining client flies and documents and assists our various staff in many areas.

Cindy Kassebaum

Conveyancing Clerk

Cindy has aver 25 years' experience in administrative roles and undertakes an active role in general office administration and reception.

In 2021, Cindy commenced training as a conveyancing clerk.
